National Co-Production Week programme - Jam and Justice
1-5 July is National Co-Production Week. Jam and Justice is marking the occasion with a series of co-hosted events in Greater Manchester and the release of our report, How Can We Govern Cities Differently? The Promise and Practices of Co-Production.
On Monday 1 July, we hold the third in our series of coalition-forging events, asking participants to consider how they can call for action and act to #CoProduceGM. More.
On Tuesday 2 July, we're delighted to join Shared Future CIC, the GM Health and Social Care Partnership and North West Association of Directors of Adult Social Services for an event exploring the potential of citizen-led commissioning. The Jam & Justice Inquiry into Care at Home, one of ten projects co-initiated by our Action Research Collective, will be one of several case studies under discussion. More.
On Wednesday 3 July, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating the conclusion of 3.5 years co-productive research: Come along for an Evening with Jam and Justice and be among the first to get your hands on a copy of our report. It's also a great chance to connect with others who share our interests in justice, participation, and making devolution matter. More.
While we are not running events on Thursday 4 July, we encourage those with local democratic interests to consider joining The Manchester Meteor for a discussion about the role of independent media in promoting social justice for the city region. (More information here.)
Our programme concludes on Friday 5 July with Councillors and Communities, feeding back findings from our focus groups Testing the 21st Century Councillor Framework and looking together at what next steps stakeholders can take. More.
Full details of all these events, and links to register (free), can be found in our events pages.
